HIXSEPT VS. The High Street

Aurelien Arbet and Jeremie Egry have yet again gone and created another casual yet sophiscated urban infused collection. ‘Variations’ for Spring/Summer 2012 displays how well denim on denim can look and work. How vibrant citrus shirts can be pulled off with simple neutral tones and that simplicity is key.

But with shirts costing up to 110 Euros and coats at 300 Euros, we need to question ourselves and think long and hard: Do we need to be spending that much money and can I afford to be paying out to keep up with the latest trend?

Well to answer that for you boys; no. You don’t need to spending this much money, but luckily for you, many high end fashion brands of newest collections get copied and ever so slightly altered by high street shops to make us students to be able to look fresh for less. Have a butchers at the pictures below to see how you can get many of the items featured in HIXSEPT’s S/S lookbook for a lot lot less, courtesy of H&M, Topman and River Island.
