Now comes the birth of a new addition to the beastly family. Aape by A BATHING APE marks the dawning of a new day. The range aims to hit the mark right between BAPE itself and BAPE Kids, targeting style hungry teens and their pocket burning allowances with t-shirts marked at $48 and parkas at $120. Expect to see Aape BY A BATHING APE for Spring/Summer 2012 hit the interweb and BAPE stores fairly soon. You can also expect the streets to go fairly crazy.

I had a feeling this would happen. When they got bought out they were always going to address affordability without tainting “BAPE”. This seems to suit those that want something a bit cheaper and doesn’t piss Bape wearers off because more people can afford (and therefore wear) it.
