It’s been pretty hectic couple of weeks here at Ahoodie. We’ve been putting in plenty of extra hours to bring you our first annual Ahoodie Awards, celebrating all of our favourite clothes, music, films and females of 2011. Yeah, it’s been a lot of work and it’s true no one has offered us any massages with happy endings to help us relax a little, but that’s probably because there’s still one more thing left to be done. We may have nominated our picks for each category, but it’s you, the readers, that have selected who you think is worthy of taking home the golden (and imaginary) Ahoodie trophy. Plus, let’s not forget that we’ve been giving you the chance to win some of the most bad boy prizes ever seen on these pages. So before I change my mind and decide to keep all the prizes myself, here are ALL of this years winners:

BEST SNEAKERS (Sponsored by VIHMIRU)- Nike MAG
When we drew up the nominees for this award, I didn’t think there would be any other winner. The Nike MAG truly blew the sneaker world apart. Arguably the most desired shoe a generation, everything about this release screamed class. An honourable mention has to go to the Jordan III’s, who ran the MAG very close!
AHOODIE WINNER: Tendai / @itstendai

BEST BRAND (Sponsored by Street Casuals)- Diamond Supply Co
Some serious amounts of love have been shown for Diamond this year and you guys let your voices be heard by selecting DSC as the best brand of 2011. Fending of some pretty fierce competition, Diamond has excelled themselves to take the crown. Here at Ahoodie we can’t wait to see what they pull out of the bag in 2012.
AHOODIE WINNER: Jacob Knight

BEST NEWCOMER BRAND (Sponsored by Swallows & Daggers) – ENCLAVE
It’s definitely been a year to remember for ENCLAVE. Dropping one of the most anticipated debut releases in modern times, the brand are tipped to be serious players in the streetwear game in 2012. Of course, that’s not to say that they aren’t already. Offering more than just your standard t-shirts, ENCLAVE is a brand you want to be a part of from the very beginning.
AHOODIE WINNER: Liam Saville

HOTTEST BABE (Sponsored by YES NO MAYBE) – Mila Kunis
Whether she was playing serious wifey material in That 70′s Show, making us laugh as the ugly duckling, Meg, in Family Guy, or exciting men and Ellen DeGeneres in Black Swan, it appears that Mila Kunis has earned a place in our hearts (and that box of pictures under your bed that your mother doesn’t know about). Congratulations to Mila, you truly are one hot piece of ass.
AHOODIE WINNER: Treshon Holly / @treysheezy

STANDOUT MOMENT (Sponsored by 123KLAN)- Nike MAG Release Campaign
When the Nike MAG isn’t winning the Best Sneakers award, it likes to relax by winning another bloomin’ award. Yes, the response that the world would finally be blessed with a Nike shoe resembling the ones from Back to the Future 2 was nothing short of phenomenal. Released only on eBay and in limited numbers it caused more than a stir online. When you take into account that the proceeds went to the Michael J Fox Foundation, it’s easy to see why this was the Standout Moment of 2011.
AHOODIE WINNER: Joseph Colton

BEST ARTIST (Sponsored by INDCSN)- Tyler, the Creator
Like a stick of dynamite, Tyler, the Creator burst onto the scene in 2011. Just like said dynamite, he’s left a bit of a mark as well. Controversial lyrics, funky beats and energetic shows have made Tyler a real forced to be reckoned with. Odd Future has had an absolutely storming year, but I get the impression a lot of that is down to the Creator.
AHOODIE WINNER: tbc

BEST MOVIE (Sponsored by Radical Kids)- The Inbetweeners
Not one to watch with your parents, but enough of you saw The Inbetweeners Movie to vote it the best of 2011. Immature, rude and outlandish, this film was a true reflection of the youth of today. Smashes box offices like they’re virginities, The Inbetweeners proved they can mix it with the big boys and come out smelling like clunge. Well done, lads.
AHOODIE WINNER: Joseph Ortega

AHOODIE ICON (Sponsored by Soapbox)- Tyler, the Creator
Tyler, the Creator basically assaulted all of our senses this year. His music filled our ears. His style and swagger made many of our eyes green. Touched by many when crowd surfing at Odd Future’s sell-out gigs. He stunk of success. I’m pretty sure several girls tasted him as well. Tyler was your choice for the AHOODIE ICON AWARD and we completely agree. He’s stabbing any blogging f*ggot hipster with a pitchfork.
AHOODIE WINNER: Andy Huckle
