This video sucks. This is not hate , it’s criticism take it or leave it fishstick lovers.

Kanye tries too hard once again, this fail happened on his previous album with his video “Flashing Lights” out of the three videos only one really spoke out the message of the song. The one going through the daily life of that woman absorbed by materialism. Having the video shot in stills was the perfect way of using the effects to express the idea. (The idea being photographs being taken, hence the flashing lights) Otherwise the other 2 videos were just way too beyond abstract for any one to even begin to try to interpret them.

This video is a bit of both worlds, we can clearly see that Rihanna = Paranoia (they both rhyme), but seriously this video is nothing special. It’s just a bunch of random shots thrown together with added special effects to make it seem like there’s a deeper meaning to it and to tie it all together he adds some random parts of the lyrics or keywords just to put us back on topic. Why don’t you just make it a Karaoke Kanye ? I bet we’d enjoy that more. Take up some Cinema Classes or go watch some David Fincher, but this video is just plain bollocks.

A good part of the video is that at least the camera was always shaky at some points always giving the viewer anxiety or stress which are both related to Paranoia. Oh yes, also Rihanna’s lack of clothing as well, that was very enjoyable. Although, it’s not like we haven’t seen what’s under her duct tape outfit. Obviously the message is there, but I did not enjoy the video that much. There could’ve been more done.
