Using Velcro on clothes is by no means a new idea. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had trainers that have used it as a method of fastening the shoe to my feet. Very practical. Film star Sacha Baron Cohen experimented with an all-Velcro suit in the film Bruno. Very Ridiculous. But when Yes No Maybe got their hands on a New Era fitted cap and attached a Velcro patch to one of the front panels, two words instantly sprung to mind. VERY AWESOME!
It’s one of those ideas that’s so simple you just think to yourself: “Damn! Why the hell am I wasting my time writing Christina Aguilera love letters as rumour has it she’s getting a divorce and this could finally be my chance to get in there just as long as she knows who I am and I don’t get a restraining order, when I could of thought of that cool idea”. Needless to say YNM spent their time a little more productively, and I thank them for that.
With customisation such a prevalent topic at the moment, this cap lets you really express yourself (that is as long as whatever you’re using is made of Velcro). But thankfully when you purchase this fine piece of head gear, you get far more than just something to keep your hair dry. It comes complete with plenty of sticky goodies for you to feng shui your forehead like Mr. Miyagi’s garden.
Don’t believe me? Check out this video.
The caps are available in a number of different colours and priced at £48.99. For those of you shopping on a budget, don’t despair as you can get yourself a nice little starter bundle for just £28.99. Head on over to the Yes No Maybe store to order yours.
