Puma bike Trainerspotter x Puma Custom Cycle

You may remember a little while ago I wrote an article about the brand new Sky Hi II sneaker collaboration from Trainerspotter and Puma. Well, I’m pleased to inform you that both labels decided to strike while the iron is hot and have since created this B-E-A-UTIFUL custom cycle.

I’ll be honest, I’m no bicycle connoisseur, in fact I haven’t ridden one since my BMX days back in High School. Man, those were good times. Going down the woods, hitting dirt ramps, all such fun. That is until I had my friend sitting on the handle bars whilst going down a hill. Doesn’t sound too sinister until you take into account the fact that I jumped off the back resulting in a broken arm for my pal. True Story.

But you don’t need to be an expert in the art of cycling to know this is a pretty sexy looking piece of transportational equipment. I’m informed that the Puma “Number 5″ bike is a real top end bit of gear with the frame being “constructed from alloy and designed geometrically holding the body forward in a leaning aggressive position”, which is apparently a good thing. It also features the same signature colourway as the Miami Vice inspired sneakers, giving it a really slick appearance, so much so I think it would be a shame to ride it.

My only main concern is that you may notice there aren’t actually any brakes on the bike, and lets be honest, if your wearing the Sky Hi kicks, you won’t wanna be slammin’ those down on the ground to stop. But this won’t be too much of an issue as it’s highly unlikely any of us will be riding this bicycle any time soon, as sadly there is only one in existence. MORE PLEASE!
