These are probably the most in-season kicks I’ve ever seen. Here on the east coast, you can finally feel the winter weather deteriorating and the spring slowly bringing in its warmth in little by little. These shoes are a collaboration between skate shoe producer DVS and grass-roots skate shop Green Apple in Winnipeg, Canada. The owner of Green Apple, Mike McDermott, is sponsored by DVS (as well as Habitat and Anti-Social), so this is how Green Apple got hooked up.

The reason why this is worthy of being on the Ahoodie page is because of the absolutely awesome shade of green that is used. This green suede is the main color for every shoe except the Milan CT (black suede upper), which has a green suede patch on the tongue and a green line running on the top of the out-sole. The theme of these sneaks is St. Patrick’s Day, so green with white accents are used on the other two models of shoes being released, the Rico CT and the Inmate. The Rico is a super-low top with green suede all over and white suede laces (dope!), a white outsole, and a white DVS tag on the side. Green Apple’s logo in a green stitching on the rear quarter-panel, for a green on green look. The Inmate is your basic shoe, with the green suede, white laces, and white out-sole. This shoe has a white tongue patch that says “Green Apple” in that wonderful green color. The Milan, mentioned before, is black suede with two white leather stripes, the tongue patch, and a vulked outsole with black and white contrast detailing. All of the shoes have a green insole with Green Apple printed in oversize cursive.
