I’ve been described as many things in my life; a pimp, a philosopher, an accident, but never burly. I’m 23 years old next month, so I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m probably not going to get any more rugged than I already am. It’s a shame because some of the world’s best people are hard-ass outdoorsmen, like Bear Grylls and Chuck Norris. The kind of guys that could kill you with their ridiculously fast growing facial hair and possess the ability to whittle a nuclear warhead out of a fallen tree branch. Coming to this crippling realisation I turned my attention to fashion once again, and the wondrous world of clothes hasn’t failed me.
Introducing the Penfield “Woodcut” collection! The line consists of three designs, all of which featuring a different animal. Whilst they don’t really resemble most of the streetwear you’ve become accustomed to reading about on Ahoodie, I wanted to share these because of the quality and execution of the prints. It really does look like someone has just hacked down a huge tree and carved the animal into the trunk. The attention to detail is fantastic too, as the grooves in the imaginary wood carry on through both the light and dark segments of the design.
Seeing as I don’t think I could pull of a plaid shirt and braces, this is definitely a much safer look for me. Grab yours from the Penfield store (though if you’re in the UK, you can pick them up from Bored of Southsea, as they seem to be sold out).
