Transformers was one of the most mesmerizing things to me as a kid. I was amazed at the concept of it; the fact that this car thing could turn into a robot in a couple twists and turns. Today I’m amazed at the concept of Bape, selling normal t-shirts with subpar marketing at a $90 premium… now that’s a concept. Anyways, Bape and Transformers are joining forces to make, well, a Transformer and some tees. This collabo is like almost all other of Bape’s weird partnerships, and is an Optimus Prime swagged out in jade Bapecamo. The tees are also what you would expect from Bape, breaking down Optimus Prime with Baby Milo into cartoon form. Various other designs (shown below) will be available as well, some sold only at the Bapexclusive stores. From the looks of it, it might just be a Japan release, so if you want to cop, I suggest you preorder from Pondon, any Bape head’s main squeeze for Japan pickups.
