Bape’s new collection has its ups and downs, but it’s definitely worth a look. The collection seems to drift away from Bape’s original urban design cues and is turning to a more sophisticated sleek look.

For example, Bapestas (the AF1-looking shoes) aren’t even present! Instead, Bape is exclusively making Apesta Gridirons, which basically look like Converse. On the upside, these kicks are being made out of leather, canvas, and suede, lending a more Moncler/Lanvin-esque look. Also expect some Bapecamo wingtips and boots. There are also a lot of Baby Milo designs, not too many Bape heads floating around. As far as accessories go, Bape has you covered. In the mix of things you’ll find keychains, shoehorns, socks, Baby-G’s, shot glasses, fanny packs, straw hats, and a slew of other things. Also look out for an Ambush X Bape belt. It uses the same buckle that was on the Creepsta, something that would accent those nicely.
