Here’s a cool video for you guys. The most anticipated hip-hop album of the year, probably the most anticipated of all time as well, is releasing in barely more than a week. This album, if you haven’t figured out already, is Watch the Throne, a collaborative work by Jay-Z and Kanye West. Not too long ago, a mini-documentary was released that showed how the gears were turning inside the duo’s heads as they were making the album. The video is set in the last phase of the recording, in Sydney, Australia. They’re in a private estate, and celebrate Hova’s birthday (Kanye gave him a sweet present). Jay-Z also discusses how he witnessed and helped Kanye rise to be a superstar producer and rapper, and how he’s stoked making an album with him. Jay and ‘Ye recording songs off of the album are shown as well, with some toasts and get-togethers here and there. These guys really have a bromance going, and it brought a smile to my face as I watched the video. It’s ten minutes long, so make sure you have enough time to watch the whole thing through.
