Old school LRG has collaborated with pro skater Chris Cole’s brand FALLEN Footwear and blessed the company with an entire makeover. The re-design is one of the most exclusive collaborations that I’ve seen. They found a way to keep the original aspects of the shoe I love while also giving it more of one of those “unforgettable” appearances. In the layering of 2-tone denim, LRG added accents in its signature green and large Lifted Research Group‘s Tree emblems embroidered on the heel panels. The shoe also has a padded tongue and ankle collar, EVA-prep insole with gel heel insert, and vulcanized outsole in abrasion resistant rubber. These shoes are meant to be used for skateboarding, so as a skater I’m ecstatic to add this shoe to my collection and you should be too. Don’t forget you don’t have to skate to rock the shoes.
