It’s been a while since we did a Hoodie of the Week (previously ‘Day’), what with Summer and all but we all know how much Mother Nature hates us and springs bad weather upon the world. But it’s not all doom and gloom; your second favourite Ahoodie feature is back in business and we are now able to present a new clothing line from British rapper Tinie Tempah – Disturbing London. The brand is still in its infancy with only two designs on the go at the moment but with Tinie on board, I’m sure they’ll grow up pretty fast and in the meantime – lets just enjoy the hoodie.

As I said, they only have two designs for now, both of which come on hoodies and tees but as it’s HOODIE (singular) of the week I can only show you one and as you’ll see below – I’ve gone for the tea cup design which is featured on the back of a black zip-up hoodie. Now, I’m sure everyone is aware of the milky wonder that is tea. It is pretty much a symbol of the UK as a whole and many a times have I been involved in Xbox Live arguments involving the concept of “tea and motherfucking crumpets”. As the name of the brand suggests, Disturbing London is a England based brand so it’s clear this design plays on our stereotypical love of Chinese leaves in a cup but to make it that bit cooler, the cup has been giving a pretty spiffing ‘tache and an equally spiffing pair of wayfarers (as commonly seen on Tinie’s very own face).

I’m usually quite weary of rappers and celebrities in general trying to delve into the world of streetwear as it always seems like they’re just in it for a quick buck. Now I may be wrong here but Tinie seems like a good guy that is genuinely interested in fashion and since it’s UK based; I’m gonna keep an eye on this company and hope that they do good things.
