As discussed here, for the most part things such as braided rat-tails, timber wolf tees, and anything with shredded fabric acts as a portal to another time. A time when gimp and snap-on bracelets were all the rage. When we still believed the fights between Hulk Hogan and Randy ‘MachoMan’ Savage were REAL! When it was actually COOL to be a bleached blond, mullet-haired, die-hard rock fan (instead of just a scenester costume). Those times…they may have been the BEST times.
Which is why this new Gucci style for next spring, conjures up all sorts of warmth and fuzziness in our electronic heart. That’s right dear reader! These not only have a shredded trim, but they’ve got a shinny patent sheen! **sigh**
To be fair, we still prefer Visvim’s take on the moccasin, as they have more of a subtle vibe. However, we wouldn’t mind taking a walk on the wild side in a pair of these babies.
