save anna t shirt T Shirts: Save Anna by Christopher Lee Sauve

If you haven’t seen The September Issue (which you better have), then you will not know who this woman is. This incorrigible woman of international influence, who moves entire continents at her whim, and brings down the career of many an inferior designer. The woman with the signature bob cut, oversized black glasses, and crisp, soul-detroying voice. The beast, who ruthlessly orders her minions around from the ivory tower called Vogue, the crown jewel of Condé Nast Publications

She is, of course, Anna Wintour. And she hates you and your vile haircut.

Christopher Lee Sauve is the man behind a movement that in retrospect, was quite unnecessary, but awesome at the same time. When rumours popped up about Anna Wintour being replaced (as if she would such nonsense) at Vogue by French Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief, Carine Roitfeld, a movement began in downtown Manhattan to garner support the famed editor. Even though the rumours proved false, it was quite something to see Sauve’s SAVE ANNA motif on every self-respecting hipster in Brooklyn. Even Vogue’s Editor at Large (literally) Andre Leon Talley—quite possibly the best example that money does not equate style—was spotted wearing one over his suit. That’s right, over his suit. Including the jacket.
There’s a withheld comment there, I just don’t want Ahoodie to get sued. :)

So why is this in any way relevant? Because apparently Versace is going down the shitter as well. And it’s amusing, because Versace is so irrelevant, that no one could care less. I mean really, when 40% of your business is devoted to selling Alabama(-an or -ian?) trophy wives shapeless masses of black leather and gold shit (AKA their accessories), then you, my dear, are irrelevant, and probably shouldn’t have been around to begin with. The Donatella shirt in the link above is nice though. Donatella’s Lego-like visage shall never cease to amuse me.
Shirt’s not available until March, Ahooders. But expect to find it here.
P.S. Shout-out to Fake Karl, who partly inspired this post.
