I could rock these bad boys EVERYday. In my household dining table means magazine, plate means Scott Towel, and utensils mean my fingers…In my household these pants would mean 5-star dining!
MiteMite prides themselves on producing unnecessary objects to brighten up your otherwise boring life. MiteMite’s Lazy Sunday pants are like a Lazy Susan for your legs. A comfy pair of sweatpants, perfect for those lazy days (weeks, in my case), which feature a detachable tablecloth for weekend picnics in your lap! The table cloth attaches securely to the velcro strips on the pants which also have a pouch to hold all your remote controls for easy access. No more having to get up to change the channel when your mom walks in on you watching squiggly porn! The pants retail for 55 Euros.
Sneakpeek at another Varsity Jacket from the impending Pastelle collectionKanye West has been spotted with a new piece of eye-candy on his arm…and we’re not talking about his new girlfriend Amber Rose. Take a look at the latest piece from Kanye’s upcoming Fall ’09 Past.Tell collection. The jacket features some leather sleeves, a speckled wool body, slash pockets and red striped ribbing. This new varsity jacket bears a slight resemblance to another stadium jacket we saw on Yeezy back in November.
Keeps your eyes on Ahoodie.com for the release!

If you couldn’t tell from our prestigious vocabulary and illustrious reporting, Ahoodie is all about the finer things in life! In fact, we never start writing a post without first draping ourselves in cashmere, lighting up an expensive Cuban cigar, and pouring ourselves a glass of 1907 Heidsieck Champagne (at a very affordable $275,000 US a bottle). Dolce & Gabbana understand our needs. The Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 09 men’s collection is designed with our kind in mind. The garments reek of lavish spending and ostentatious dressing; it’s hard not to feel regal in a tiger-print blazer (do you have any “Grey Poupon”?!). However, there are a few more subtle pieces like this loose-weave cable-knit sweater, which we’d like to get our hands on. Perhaps we can use the enormous gap in the model’s teeth as a place to rest our Cubans.
Take a look at some of the other interesting pieces from D & G’s Spring/Summer 09 collection below.

Mr. Platinum out of NYC. The brand hopes to “promote the progress of Life with science influenced designs; to advance the Fashion, and Music industry, for all Mankind. This is what we call “Think n Science”. hello”.
Iridium Clothing’s current collection features a large selection of t-shirts, some cardigans, crewnecks, polo’s, and jackets. We really like the colour combination for their 77 Varsity Jacket. We also dig their little science-guy Dr. Bllouse. We’re pretty sure Dr.Bllouse is busy creating a cartoon DeLorean that can travel back to the future for our Ahoodie mascot, as we speak.

This is yet another cool and “avant-guardiste” design from one of our fav brand; Bape. The colorway is pretty trippy, it makes me want to celebrate christmas in hawaii and then maybe get a dolphinoplasty.
Retails for $235 USD(22890 jpy) available nowhere (some of the bape stores and online at bape.com but only ship to jap…).

Uniforms for the Dedicated’s Spring/Summer 2009 lookbook is a real work of art, which is actually what the Swedish brand aims at accomplishing: art. Maintaining a true appreciation for creativity, Uniforms for the Dedicated invites musicians, illustrators, artists and designers to contribute to their collections season after season.
This Friday, March 6th, the doors of Uniforms’ first concept store in collaboration with +46 in the PUB-building of Central Stockholm will open for business. Take a look at their amazing S/S 2009 lookbook which showcases music by Johan Idesjö and cool illustrations.

We don’t often get into the world of caps here at Ahoodie, however we’re always big fans of The Hundreds x New Era , and look forward to their new collections. Set to drop on Thursday, March 5th at their L.A. and San Fran stores is this series of caps from The Hundreds spring ’09 collection.
We’re loving the above two styles featuring a 3D pixel and a fleece TH logo. Pick one (or some) up for yourself starting tomorrow!
Dropping this weekend at the BBC/Ice Cream store in Hong Kong, are some select pieces from their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Available as of Saturday, March 7th, BBC/Ice Cream’s March releases include several graphic tees; as well as a windbreaker, belt and cellphone pouch (does anyone even USE those anymore?!) which all feature the “stars in space” print we’ve been seeing on a lot of BBC/Ice Cream gear lately.
Make your way to Hong Kong this saturday, or beg your local BBC/Ice Cream dealer to order these pieces.

BAPE has released some new items over the weekend from its Spring/Summer ’09 collection. This recent drop includes a variety of pieces ranging from knits to blazers, and chinos to keychains!
As I’m looking through these new products, I’m finding that I actually quite like alot of these pieces…which, if you’re a regular Ahooder, you know is a bit bizarre. Has BAPE taken a turn for the better, creating more versatile garments with a broader appeal? Or have I officially gone apeshit after years of writing about BAPE on Ahoodie.com?!

Short and sweet, mu’fuggas. Check out some of our top picks from Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2009 lookbook. Grab a pencil and make some notes, these pieces will be available in stores soon, if not already!

Cassette Playa Clothing, founded by 27 year old Brit Carri Munden is, well….I don’t know. Maybe I’m tired, maybe I’ve been staring at the screen too long, maybe I’m drunk! Either way, I can’t figure it out. The brand’s founder recently won an award for Best Costume Designer in Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Best of Rock” edition, and boasts M.I.A as a supporter.
What I DO know is that the Cassette Playa website is Supercalifragilisticexpiali-RETARDED! I LOVE it! Click the “Collections” tab and let the seizures begin! By far, my favourite part is the online shop. I’m not sure if I’d feel comfortable entering any credit card information into this blackhole of a page, but it looks pretty amazing! If you’re too scared to buy it there, check out some of their pieces available at Colette.
So, we’re leaving it up to you Ahooders, tell us what you think!

On my red-eye flight back from Las Vegas last week, I was so lucky as to be seated in the middle seat between two mammoth men. As nice as it was to have two huge arms on either side of me to cushion my teetering (and 4 days hungover) head, I couldn’t help but think how much more comfortable I would be without the prickly fur-like hair attached to said arms. Apparently someone was listening to my prayers. God, you say?! Nope. He forgot me long ago after that time I showed up at Sunday mass in my “sexy devil” costume from Hallowe’en last year. Rahel Ritchie heard me loud and clear, and blessed me with the Never Stop A Rolling Stone hoodie!
This fashionable hoodie features a removable hood which can be inflated to provide you with a comfy place to rest your head no matter where you are! How does it work? Lauren Bacall said it best to Humphrey Bogart, “Just put your lips together, and BLOW”. The air valve is conveniently located in the hood, close to the neckline. The hoodie also features a removable passport pouch, an eye-mask and is water/stain repellent.

Sick of hearing about the economic crisis? Don’t want to know which company filed for bankruptcy this week? Could care less about making provisions for the future? Well, my ignorant friend, this post goes out to you! If you keep thinking that way, you’ll most likely be broke, jobless and living under a bridge with the pigeons sooner rather than later. And when you live under a bridge, being your own personal seamstress will come in handy. Need some rubber boots for your treks into the sewers looking for food (i.e. rats)? Take a pair of socks, get a plastic bag, sew the two together and you’re covered! Tired of walking all the way to the top of the bridge late at night when you’ve got the runs from all that ratmeat? Take your underwear, get a plastic bag, sew the two together…and well, you get the idea!
In the meantime while you’re still in denial spending money you don’t have, why not support those who’ve made a name for themselves doing just that!…minus the plastic bags, of course (that idea is 100% AHOODIE!). Apliiq clothing takes a less grimey approach to our above ideas by creating unique, handmade items which interlace textile art with everyday apparel. The results are nice designs which “respect both the individual, and their environment”.
By both the above hoodies, and other Apliiq designs at Karmaloop.

Seems like only the hood and some parts of it are waterproof, but hey, at least it looks dope. Dark purple and baby blue/cyan, its definitely an original colourway.

Show off to your friends the fruity cultural artistic super 80s retro side of yourself with this lrg hoodie. The colorway ressembles the previous Rock Paper Scissor Hoodie. I feel my mom had a sweatshirt that looked just like that to go with her crazy 80s coiffure, Diane? Personnaly I don’t think I’ve ever really been into 80s clothing, well except in the 80s…when I did this one AHOODIE ad…
