The Mishka “Get Wired” 80′s style New York steelo knit is pure class and will probably lead you to getting tons of ass. Oh, the 80′s *sigh* … things were so much simpler back then. All you needed to be cool was a Bill Cosby-style sweater with some squiggly lines or geometric shapes, and a pair of those glasses with the fold-over sunglass lenses. With those two things you became like the only fisherman in a vast sea of assfish, the assfish were practically throwing themselves at you…And then you woke up with a craving for a slightly rotten tuna sandwich. Don’t ask me, it was your dream!
The sweater is 100% Lambswool. Apparently they drew inspiration from the cover-art of an album by UK band, The Wire…as opposed to being inspired by your assfish dream, weirdo. Lots of nice knits from Mishka NYC, keep your eyes peeled. Get it now at the Mishka online store for only $72.99 (down from $145!).

“We” at Ahoodie, just spent a considerable amount of time writing a piece for you pertaining to the opening of the “Nowhere” shop-in-shop, which opened at the Dover Street Market in London, on Friday. However, “we” accidentaly “lost” the document…twice. And “we” came to the conclusion that “we” could have opted against the 6th shot of tequila, and “we” think 5:20am is late enough, and “we” have no idea HOW “we” managed to lose our underpants, yet keep our pants. And by “we”, “we” mean “I” (the dude that works in the Ahoodie complaint department). So instead here’s a quick list of truths, and untruths regarding this event:
FACT Nigo was at the event signing copies of his book celebrating 15 years of BAPE.
FICTION He brought live pandas with him.
FACT The Dover Street Market is operated by Comme des Garçons.
FICTION They were sweatshop pandas, so they brought their own needle and thread.
FACT The shop-in-shop is a replica of the original store owned by Nigo and Jun Takashi of Undercover.
FICTION They were so overworked, they had no time to wash the neon-green vomit off their faces before arriving.
FACT The original store was in established in the 90′s in Harajuku.
FICTION When they sold out of BAPE’s panda-hoodie at the opening, Nigo grabbed one of the panda, skinned it alive and sold it as a very limited (and bloody) release.

I don’t get the name for this hoodie but I felt like posting it since it looks pretty nice and because ahoodie’s main writer (she’s hot as hell) and I play (strip) Rock Paper Scissors every day when we get to see each other (naked).

* Thanks to William who convinced me piercing my weewee wasn’t a good idea.

This month’s new hot releases include this camo/shark hoodie that I like (but can’t afford).

Break out the oysters, pop the lid off the Veuve, and immerse yourself in a more refined kind of cool: Apparel OntFront. This event management company, turned fashion label from the Netherlands drapes their clientele in finely tailored fabrics from Italy and France. We hate the idea of 2-for-1 clothing, but this suit jacket and hoodie combination is phat in all the right places. It’s actually kind of hard to describe. Like one of those live “duets” performed by ONE person dressed as a man on one side, and a Cher look alike on the other. This piece from the spring/summer 2009 collection is part slim-fit, pinstripe, tailored suit jacket with welt-pockets; part headphone-embroidered hoodie, with ribbed hem and gold-plated 3.5mm mini jack plugs which serve as endpieces to the drawstrings.
*Added Bonus* For those of us not blessed with a Bill Murray-like build (see previous post), the jacket features built-in shoulder pads to do for your posture what Viagra does for your… minus the 4-hour erections.
It’s available here for roughly $212 USD.

Everybody wants to be Bill Murray, don’t deny it…you know you do (and just so you’re clear, your girlfriend probably has a crush on him too). So assuming you’re not that guy who skins people alive like in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, your next best bet is to get your hands on this “Venkman” uniform t-shirt. Thanks to the belt-printing, this oversized graphic is even printed over the seams.
*Added Bonus* When you finally convince your girlfriend that you’re just as hot as Bill Murray and she lets you back in bed, turn out the lights and turn her on when the glow-in-the-dark slime spots appear! Buy it here for $26.

I ordered this one last week…paid 40$ for customs.WTF.
Anyways, the hood is nice, the design is sweet, the fit is pretty good but could’ve been tighter at the chest. The print is a little thick but the quality seems pretty good.
UPDATE: Print didn’t crack after wash. <3

Small post…Or as my ex used to say: “I’ll give you a quicky”.

Here’s a jacket that scream: Bling! or “let go my PURSE!, I don’t know YOU!”
I dunno where you guys are at right now but it’s cold as F*CK in my part of town…So I felt like posting about this jacket would be relevant. Just looking at the pictures kinda worms me up!
For Bape’s new spring / summer 2009 collections, they are releasing this very limited winter jacket that comes in 2 colorways and can be purchased in “some” of the bape stores for a pretty crazy price, but you just can’t put a price on looking like a fashion esquimo.
UPDATE: Oh wait yeah: 5, 850$ USD.

In anticipation of the Teriyaki Boys’ upcoming album, BAPE will release a promotional collection to commemorate this event. The collection will include a pack of 4 t-shirt prints featuring each of the BAPE family pets as a zip-up hoodie…kinda like a picture-in-picture of a hoodie on a tee. Also set to release this month are a Teriyaki Source mesh and knit cap, as well as a hoodie. Both chicks and pricks will find their sizes, each piece will run you approximately $80 US and are currently available at BAPE stores worldwide for a limited time.
If you haven’t already seen it, check out the Teriyaki Boys’ video for “Work That” featuring Pharrell, and some vocals from Chris Brown. The video grows on you on quickly, and you can’t help but smile at the bums playing “patticake” at the end. It’s so ridiculous, we love it!

Pursuing its ventures into a style which is the clothing equivalent of “The Mullet” (business in the front, party in the back), Billionaire Boys Club is set to release a “tuxedo” jacket as part of its Spring 2009 collection. However, unlike the mullet, this jacket won’t have people unfortunate enough to be waiting in line behind you, betting on whether or not you’re wearing a Hulkamania t-shirt.
A technical jacket with a motorcycle-style cut, this jacket is all you need to grab your gal, hop on your “hog” and rev that engine all the way to your shotgun wedding in Vegas. Don’t forget to remind your new father-in-law that “nobody puts Baby in a corner”.

BAPE’s Spring 2009 catalogue just dropped and a new furry…? fluffy…?…feathery friend has been added to A Bathing Ape’s extended family. It’s Donald Duck, dudes!

Seen above as a plush toy, Donald will also be seen on some limited edition denims and hoodies. Our fave piece so far are the shark jeans with varsity lettering on the back, a perfect match for the shark varsity jacket with will likely do well. Thanks to HK Anytime for the images.
In the meantime feed your fiend for BAPE, with this most recent release from A Bathing Ape’s Fall/Winter ’08 Collection. Available in the two colourways shown below, the Bapesta 88 Holiday releases are also available in a white/green colourway.

BBC/Ice Cream Spring/Summer 2009
The unveiling of spring lookbooks are one of the few things stopping us from going into a cave, sealing it shut, and entering a deep coma-like state for the rest of the winter months. This week its BBC/Ice Cream’s spring 2009 lookbook that’s to thank for this ahoodie writer not giving up on shaving and living a generally civilized life…aside from sniffing a few butts and rolling over for treats.
The Billionaire Boys Club’s Spring Summer MMix is a more diverse cut&sew collection than in previous seasons. The collection takes a more comfortable approach to formal dresswear. A tuxedo print jacket, double-breasted peacoat sweater, and lots of bow-ties play-up the classic summer shorts and crop pants silhouettes. Lookout for the collection in stores as soon as the only snow left on the streets are those big hunks of black pollution hanging on to the curb.
